The 150th Anniversary isn’t quite over yet!

We hope you are all planning to participate in the York Springs Halloween parade on Sunday, October 28th at 1:00pm. There will be music, floats, performing groups, and lots of community members in our parade. Special prizes will be given this year for historical and patriotic costumes and floats. There are categories for single walkers, couple walkers, groups, small floats and large floats. Registration for those who would like to be in the parade starts at noon at the fire hall.

York Springs’ Trick or Treat begins when the parade is over. In addition, the Ye Olde Sulphur Spa Historical Society will be open following the parade.

In August 20, 1868, the Court of Quarter Sessions in Gettysburg granted the petition of the citizens of York Springs to incorporate as the Borough of York Springs. To celebrate this milestone there will be a community celebration on Saturday, August 25, 2018.

Community support has been overwhelming and we’re looking forward to an entire day of fellowship, fun & food at many different locations all over York Springs, followed by an evening of exciting entertainment featuring “Borderline” and a Spectacular Fireworks Display sponsored by Wolf’s Bus Lines and Paul’s Garage.

—Please thank our Sponsors for their generous support—
